Initially a single storey single family home, the client desired to expand to have a second floor that could serve as a residential or a rent out office space.  

Hence, redesign of the vertical circulation and access was done keeping in mind that the house could function as a single unit or as two independent floors when required. The upper floor could be accessed through the pantry which led to two rooms that could be used as living and bedroom or conference and office rooms
